Taxi Fares Map, Goa India Goa Beach Hut PalolemThe state of Goa is a tropical paradise with weather to match, located on the west coast of India. It is only a quarter the size of Wales but is unique from the rest of India because of its history and geography. Goa has idyllic white sandy beaches and warm tropical waters, although be careful if swimming in the sea as there are dangerously strong undercurrents for those who get out of their depth.

Many visitors to Goa like to get straight to the hotel from the airport, with this in mind we have listed the standard govt approved taxi prices from the Dabolim Airport and Thivim and Margao train stations as well as prices from the northern market town of Mapusa. We keep these updated but please confirm all prices with your driver before departure as these are for provided for informational purposes only and we do not provide or endorse any taxi services.

We are happy for people to link directly to these resources and if you wish to use this information on your own website then please contact us directly for permission.

Before you arrive in Goa you will need a visa, the fee for tourist visas have gone up making it quite expensive so it's always good to save money where you can. So with that in mind why not print your Visa Photos at home instead of printing them in a both or shop. The following link sorts out the correct size for the photos, just select India and Visa photo from the drop down menus at the top and you can use their service to print, or just print them at home on a colour inkjet printer.

It is a free service so just work your way though the options to be able to download the copy (this can be done without promoting them, although it's a great service so why not).

Indian Excise and Customs

From May 2013 there are new rules at customs for travellers. They have introduced a Green and Red entrance system depending on if you are bringing in dutable items. More information on this can be found in the attached India - Guide For Travels - PDF File.

C Form ApplicationAll visitors staying in Goa are required to have a C-Form completed for them for each hotel and guest house they stay in during their time in Goa. If you would like to prepare your C-Form before arriving then why not try out our new C-Form generator that provides a PDF Version of the completed C-Form. Please be aware this is currently in development, but has already been used successfully in Goa with Anjuna Police Station commenting on it's clarity and ease of use.

There is also a Blank copy of the C-Form for use in Goa
